For a Certificate II in Horticulture (Wholesale Nursery) at least 13 of the units of competency presented for this qualification must relate to wholesale nursery work procedures, activities or contexts. In addition, at least 13 of the units selected to make up this qualification must be aligned clearly to Certificate II outcomes.

Domestic Students (Australian Permanent Residents and New Zealand Citizens):
- Must complete a Language Literacy & Numeracy Assessment, assessed by the Language Studies Department.
All students must complete a language and numeracy assessment assessed by the Language Studies Department at HSA, this is always done prior to commencement of your course.
Academic Requirement (for all students) Candidates will be eligible to enter the course if they meet the following admission criteria:
- Equivalent to Australian Year 10 general schooling or 2 years work experience in horticultural related field.
